Meet the Team

My name is Michelle and I am the Registered Care Manager for Cheshire East and Northwich.

I started work in the care industry 10 years ago in 2012, after working as a Prison Officer for 20 years. I started my journey in the health and Social Care sector as a carer and found I loved the job and being with people. I quickly progressed up the ranks to my current position.

I am passionate about delivering a high-quality standard of care to all clients no matter what their background or story is. I also believe that our staff are what make the company a success and want staff to come to work because they enjoy their jobs and being part of the team.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two boys. I have a love of theatre, music, going to the cinema and reading.

Lisa Hamlet

Registered Manager

I have worked in Care for over 18 years starting as a Care Assistant in a small Nursing Home when I left School. I new from then that this was what I was made for. My Passion for making peoples lives comfortable and enjoyable is what drove me to climb the ladder in this sector and working up to a supervisor in the Domiciliary Care, I enjoyed going into People Homes and supporting them to live their best life. I have had other roles in Domiciliary Care all of which I have fully enjoyed.

I went on to become a unit Manager in a 30-bed residential Home This role enabled me to improve my Managerial skills and achieve the best results in all aspects of care for Residents I cared for to the staff I supported. I then went on to become a deputy Manager for a 150 bed Nursing Home This role gave me the drive to become the best of me. I thrive for personal centred care, good environment and outstanding quality. That’s what I really like about Care at Home group CEO Karl Jacobie and the Managing Director Sharon Lindley share the same passions and I am really happy to be part of the team Here.

The feeling of having a impact on an individual’s life is the best feeling. To see that smile makes my job worthwhile and I would change it for the world.

Our senior branch team have a wealth of knowledge with over 100 years cumulative experience within the Health and Social Care sector, demonstrating our commitment and passion to the sector along with the drive to deliver high quality care to our clients.

We love to listen to a local dance radio station each day in the office, often having a boogie and sing along to our favourite tunes. Most of us like to be active, be it jogging or walking, which then gives us the excuse to have ‘treat’ Friday, be it a chippy lunch or cream cakes.

I started off with community care, then went into work as a live-in Personal Assistant for spinal injuries. It was during my time working as PA that I discovered my love for complex care which is what I have done ever since.

I worked as a rapid response worker supporting new packages and stabilising packages. After I had my little boy in October 2020, I then decided to take an office role as a care coordinator.
