Laura Williams
Registered Manager
My Vocation began at the age of 22 in a nursing home setting, once I had finally passed my driving test, I finally found my love for care in the community. My roles have varied and I have gained much experience, knowledge and skills in this sector and worked my way through to Registered care manager. I am excited to see how I can further progress my knowledge and skills with the Care at Home Group as I feel I have joined at an exciting time.

I have four children and love spending time with my family, I am interested in anything active from surfing to walking up mountains alternatively I enjoy a nice hot bath and a cosy night in watching Disney films. I also have interests in mental health and wellbeing recently completing my level one in reiki healing.

My name is Amy Johnson, I am the Care Manager for Care at Home Group, I have over 25 years’ experience of working within the various care sectors from supported living, homelessness, vulnerable children and adult units, care homes and domiciliary care. My previous job role before joining Care at Home Group was working for over 16 years as a Care Manager, I managed the day-to-day management of a Domiciliary Care Agency by enabling elderly individuals to remain at home. I have gained many qualifications along my career journey which I feel enables me to support an individual by receiving the best quality of care that they need and to fulfil their wish to remain at home.
My passion to work in care started when my grandparents passed away and I was very young, I started my care journey from a young age by doing voluntary work in a local Care Home in Southsea based in Portsmouth by serving afternoon tea and coffee to the individuals who lived there, I would sit with them and listen to their fascinating life stories. I love caring for people, and I feel that I show this by giving them the best quality service that me and the team can.

We love to listen to a local dance radio station each day in the office, often having a boogie and sing along to our favourite tunes. Most of us like to be active, be it jogging or walking, which then gives us the excuse to have ‘treat’ Friday, be it a chippy lunch or cream cakes.

Hi, I am Amy, I am the Complex Care Manager at Care At Home Group. I have a wide variety of experience which began working with the NAAFI and serving troops in Iraq, Germany, and all over the UK. I then began my career in social care within residential childcare, then as a support worker in a mother and baby unit working my way up to deputy manager. I then moved into housing support, beginning as a Housing Support Officer, and working my way up to Housing Manager managing buildings across the Northwest and Wales providing support to vulnerable people.

Registered Manager
Sadly, I was struck with a diagnoses of Triple Negative Breast cancer, I received Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, and radiotherapy as well as surgery, thankfully I was able to ring the bell to signify the end of my treatment, but when I returned to my employment, I felt I needed to change as my outlook had changed. I then found Care At Home Group and started as Complex Care Manager, and I am thoroughly enjoying my role here.
I am passionate about providing a high standard of care and support, and I can truly see that Care at Home Group is a company that strives to deliver this.

Ashleigh Fearon

Hi, I’m Steph I have worked in a care home prior to having my children and returned to the care industry during the pandemic as a care assistant and worked my way up to registered manager at my previous company. I came into care as I was living with my grandparent growing up and used to always support them with day-to-day life. Through working in care, I know I wanted to excel enough to promote positive changes within the care sector.
When I’m not at work I love to spend time with my two children and go on a city break and experience different cultures.
