What is Brian Injury?

Acquired brain injury (ABI) is a term used to describe all brain injuries that may occur from birth onwards.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) can be caused by a sudden and often severe head injury. TBI can result from an impact injury or when an object pierces the skull and enters the brain. Symptoms of can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain tissue.

Non-Traumatic Brain Injury causes damage to the brain through internal factors, including:
