Children and young people

Caring for children and young people in their own home is always preferable.

We support children and younger people, over the age of four, to live safely and comfortably in their own home. We can provide day to day care which underpins continuity, independence and established daily routines.

Children and parents can benefit from care and support at home for many reasons and our staff have the skills and experience required to help in any situation.

Maybe you are being admitted to hospital and require support whilst you recover, or maybe your child is unwell or has more complex needs. Whatever the reason we can work together to develop and agree a package of support to meet your requirements.
Our support workers are trained and have the skills to provide, protect and support children and young people through challenging times. All our services are person centred and we work closely with children and families to deliver high quality care supporting all aspects of life including personal care, social interaction, independence, and education.

Our in-house nurses and clinicians work collaboratively with our own care team in addition to external organisations such as local authorities, NHS services, multidisciplinary teams (MDT), therapists and other community bodies to ensure that we provide the highest quality care.

E

Live-in Care

Providing 24/7 support in your home, benefitting the whole family. The support worker can observe the family dynamics and offer ways of coping and useful routines relevant to the situation. The worker can also support with tasks and can help at night time allowing the main carer to have a good night’s sleep. Carers can also live in on a short-term basis should circumstances require.
E

Day Services

Providing regular, tailored visits throughout the day. Day services are particularly useful for encouraging older children to lead independent lives, including supporting activities outside the home, such as shopping and cinema trips or visits to meet friends, and teaching home-based life skills such as cooking and cleaning.
E

Personal Care

Our carers can support your child or young person with all elements of personal care, especially useful for developing a routine in children or young people with behavioural problems.
